Dick Cheney vs. Baghdad bob (quotes)
Baghdad Bob: "No one received them with roses. They were received with bombs, shoes and bullets. Now, the game has been exposed. Awe will backfire on them"

Dick Cheney: "my belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators."

POINT, BOB.

Baghdad Bob: "It has been rumored that we have fired scud missiles into Kuwait. I am here now to tell you, we do not have any scud missiles and I don't know why they were fired into Kuwait."

Cheney: "And we believe he has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons,"

POINT: BOB

Baghdad Bob: "The simple fact is this: they are foreigners inside a country which has rejected them. Therefore, these foreigners wherever they go or travel they will be rained down with bullets from everyone. Attacks by members of the resistance will only go up."

Cheney: fight would be "weeks rather than months"

PONIT: BOB

Baghdad Bob: "“We have placed them in a quagmire from which they can never emerge except dead”

Cheney: "I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency."

POINT: BOB

Sorry, I just had to. Funny how history sorts its self out.

I feel more connected to Baghdad Bob than our criminal leader....

"Bush is a very stupid man. The American people are not stupid, they are very clever. I can't understand how such clever people came to elect such a stupid president." -Bob

1. Baghdad Bob was pretty darn funny
I always thought of him as some character from a Monty Python skit.

2. Baghdad Bob should have had his own TV show...

even though this particular quote, while it doesn't constitute a tie, is still a bit iffy:

"...we do not have any scud missiles and I don't know why they were fired into Kuwait."

:eyes:

EDIT: speeling erra

8. I thought Iraq didn't fire any scuds ?
I thought the first reports were BS

"Iraq did not launch any Scud missiles, which an earlier version of the Patriot had little success against in the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Originally built by the Soviet Union and sold prolifically, Scuds are aging, short-range ballistic missiles capable of carrying a several hundred kilogram payload."

http://www.armscontrol.org/act/2003_11/Patriotmissile.asp

"Maj. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the vice director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Pentagon news conference that the Iraqis have not fired any Scuds and that U.S. forces searching airfields in the far western desert of Iraq have uncovered no missiles or launchers."

9. "I don't know why they were fired into Kuwait"
maybe it's his English. It just seemed a strange choice of words.

BTW, B.B. also said: "I speak better English than this villain Bush."

10. I took it as a joke.
We don't have em, and I don't know why they were fired

It sounds like a joke. The truth with jokes :)

5. Excellent Rehabilitate Bob.
He should have stayed around and found a career in the Media. Can you imagine him on Fox to funny for words. He had better credentials that Gannon/Guckert/Gosch?, and apparently knew more than the planners in the Pentagon.

11. Ever wonder what became of Baghdad Bob?
I think Bob was captured during the "Fall Of Baghdad" and forced to become Bush's speech writer in 2003. Bob's fingerprints are all over the wild claims(lies)Bush has made and is still making in public! Bob probably told Bush, how to spy on his own citizens like Saddam did it, so that Bush could stay a full step ahead of his own people, at all times and could easily zero in on the ones he didn't trust, or didn't like, or who opposed his dirty tricks and criminal wrong doing.

Don't blame me for your or my acute attacks of paranoia, blame the 5 crooked Just-Asses on the SCOTUS, including the one dirty bastard who is probably in Hell right now, as well he should be.
