Mike Webb asks "What the hell does it take to get the democrats moving??"

Well, to be fair, that is what a lot of of people are asking, myself included.

As most of you know, Mike Webb is a solidly progressive talk show host who was kicked off a big watt Seattle station recently. He immediately began using his home studio and continued using his streaming severs to keep his program going. (Every weeknight 9-11PM Pacific, as linked on the "latest" page.)

I thought it might be a good topic for him to take up on the WEBBcast, since no-commercials (although he might be getting some advertisers) means an uninterrupted and more open-ended format. This might provide a good chance for a deeper than usual exchange of ideas on this subject.

I've seen may good ideas and insights expressed here, eloquently expressed, and rather than trying to argue out the merits of each, I wondered if it might be possible to collect up some of the best posts from the recent past. I'm hoping some people have the energy and organizational skills to gather up some of those "best of" postings. Those that that deserve and need to be heard again. If this works out well, I'll forward the thread to Mike. Suggestions for guests who might be especially expert on practical party politics or other aspects of this question might also be helpful.

AAR is great, especially Malloy and Flanders and Garafalo-Seder and Randi and Earle and ....
The more the better. Each has a unique voice and viewpoint, but Mike Webb was the first public voice, other than Democracy Now!, I heard talking about PNAC during the beginnings of the invasion of Iraq. He's a fighter and a truthteller, and a natural for AAR if they want to begin offering a few more live hours after Malloy.

4. I love Mike Webb. I need to stream his show.

He got sacked before, and then he was on in the wee hours of the morning. I used to commute VERY early and loved listening. He must be a DINO-hater too, like me. I miss him.
