Lacking the resources necessary to make a meaningful contribution, I volunteered my time to Jack Carter, a Democrat running for Senate in Nevada. I am a photographer and offered my professional services at no cost.

Being involved doesn't have to cost anything. Anyone can make a contribution.

"DU this poll" is not going to be enough to set things straight in '06. I urge everyone to find a way to get involved. There is so much at stake.

Money ias always nice, but there just isn't a lot to go around sometimes. Time is always appreciated by candidates. Work the phones, canvass house to house, stuff envelopes, do something. I think a person feelas better if they take action. And you can make new friends as well.

When I ran for US Congress in the Democratic Primary...I ran against a dem who was more repub than dem, my greatest resource to me, even more than money was PEOPLE!
