new repuke talking point?

One of the repuke asshats on Tweety's show tonight (former head of RNC--I forget his name) says unka dick and the other members of the bush drime gang are innocent of lying about pre-Iraq-invasion "intelligence" (despite new evidence that the lises they told did not come from the CIA) because, it was the CIA's responsibility to make sure the bush crime gang didn't distort the intelligence. He actually said that the misleading comments by members of the bush crime gang were the CIA's fault because they had a responsibility not to let the intelligence be distorted.

Did anyone else hear this?

This was like the bankrobber blaming the bank. "It's the bank's responsibility not to be robbed! It's not my fault. I mean just because I had a gun. And a bomb. And a note. They were supposed to stop me from emptying the safe! It's their fault!"

(This is the first time I've watched Tweety in months. I tuned in part of it while cooking some super-dooper lasagne because some DUer posted that it was good.)

they didn't blame the CIA for bad intel, but for not preventing the bushgang from lying and making up their own intel.
