I think finally after 5 years of waiting for the drips to overflow, it's happened. I think stuff is going to start sticking to the teflon president and I don't think he's going to bounce back now.

That doesn't mean the nation isn't still in danger. The PNACer neocon policies that have been put in place have been and are an ongoing disaster and we still have an out-of-whack election system that seems to 'give' the win to Repubs more often than not, so that even if ** is out of the way the GOP will install another puppet to do their dirty work. But I think that enough people in this country are pissed about the state of things so that we have a window of opportunity here. If we can just clean up the election system we have a chance of turning things around.

So keep on top of the shape of your local and state election system. We have DUers from every major city and every state. We can, if we all pitch in, be the catalyst for cleaning up this country, one polling station at a time.

11. I Always Have That Hope, But I Just Don't See It Yet.

The fact is if he can still stand up in front of the american people, bluntly lie and at the same time admit to them that he's going to continue his illegal wiretapping, and half the country says good, I want him to protect us and there haven't been mass protests yet at this outrageous program, than we still aren't quite there yet. I look at that as a huge gauge to how sick this country is of him, and unfortunately the mainstream american response has been "eh we don't like it that much, but it's ok I guess, he's gotta do what he's gotta do to protect me". As long as mainstream america still doesn't yet have the passion to be outraged even with something as devaststatingly apparently wrong as this program, than we just simply aren't there yet. Drip by drip though I hope to get there.

church and he got the boot from medicare!!! He had to borrow money from us for meds because he has high blood pressure, heart issues, and diabetes.
