What blogsites do you trust/go to first?
I am fed up with "traditional" media as Kos refers to.
What/who do you trust? What is your lineup in the a.m.?

My husband keeps me apprised of Huffpo, Digby, Talking Points, Kos and Atrios, though.

buzzflash.com and here. I like tbrnews.org, but we're not suppose to mention that site. HuffingtonPost is good, Salon.com.

6. I always go to this one first:
http://firedoglake.blogspot.com/

Firedoglake frequently cites to other blogs, so you'll find other ones just by going there.

This one's also a gem:

http://jameswolcott.com/

And here's one I KNOW you'll like:

http://www.thismodernworld.com/

These are also good:

8. It's probably not what you're looking for, but this is my essential
site.

http://politicaltheory.info/

It's a labor of love for the poli sci grad/doctoral student that runs it. The breadth of his links is astounding, covering a wide range of topics, and, yes, a wide range of viewpoints. Don't be afraid to have your thoughts challenged. It will only strengthen them.

19. A few good ones - Democratic Daily, DCP, Donkey Rising
The Democratic Daily

Donkey Rising

Democracy Cell Project

But I confess, I still check BBC, MSNBC, and NYT. Not that I trust them, just that I want to know what they are talking about. And I usually hear one or two things on NPR as I get ready for work that I won't see later on in the MSM.

They seem to get the news faster than most other sites.

Josh Micah Marshall is good for his investigative reporting.
