Going round in circles about "tackiness" at the funeral with cons, so I
pointed out the tackiness of ** commandeering an aircraft carrier so he could don a flight suit and land on it to proclaim, "Mission Accomplished".

Also asked if they knew the gov't is making wounded soldiers pay them back for lost body armor? Now THAT'S tacky. And cruel. :(

...hopefully of some horrible painful cancer and hopefully soon...

He is so crooked they will have to screw him into the ground.

And so evil that the earth will vomit him up.

Russians found his teeth when they took that part of Berlin.

12. Please...
We must be careful that, in our hate, we do not become that which we abhor. And forgive--seventy times seven.
In the meantime, as Jesus demonstrated on the cross, be strong and brave---and bring those evil bastiges to their knees!

lost body armor? I haven't seen much about this, but it happened to a unit that came back to Ft. Benning about the same time my husband's unit came back. It wasn't just for lost body armor either. Some of the soldiers had written their last names on some of their vests so they wouldn't get mixed up and they were being charged for damaging the vests. The real kicker was that the vests they were turning back in were actually of such poor quality that the Army was phasing them out so all of them were going to surplus shops, but the Army was going to charge the soldiers too.

We called the local media over in Columbus and they started calling to ask questions and then there was a lot of denial, etc. but I heard that other units faced some of the same problems as well.

I was just curious where you had heard about it in the media? I thought it had been basically ignored. Glad to hear it hasn't been completely covered up.

17. I fail to see why it is any business of theirs.
The King family had the funeral ceremony that they wanted to have. If Mr. Bush didn't like the celebration of Mrs. King's life, he was free to leave any time he wanted to.

22. Next time they bring up what a wonderful woman they thought she was,
Ask them what they loved about her.

Her Fight for gay rights?
Her fight for the poor?
Affirmative Action?
The nonviolent movement?

*que crickets*
They all of a sudden admire her, yet admire none of what she stood for...

I would not be surprised if I hear complaints about the political grandstanding so I have thoughts such as yours all lined up and ready to go. :)
