I attended a " Joe Lieberman retirement party " last night.
Ned Lamont, came to Los Angeles yesterday on his first fund raising venture, in his effort to retire Joe Lieberman. He and his wife spoke to about 25 local activist, and we were all impressed.--not that it would take much to get us excited about ANYONE that tries to relieve us of this DINO.

He had never heard of DU, but when you listen to him talk, you'd think he was a regular poster here. He is especially adamant about the wrongness of the Iraq invasion, both before and now, and plans to pound that message in the race, in contrast to Lieberman's cheer leading antics.

His position on Supreme Court Justices, corruption, the environment, privacy issues and the like, are a mirror image of the liberal/progressive values of most folks here. But,I was most taken by his honesty and sincere belief in what he was saying. He's not afraid to speak truth to power and when elected he'll do just that. He reminded me an awful lot of Howard Dean, in his ability to tell the truth in a way everyday people can understand it and identify with.

As a campaign consultant, I see many people who have the desire to hold public office, but rarely do I come across people that impress me right off the bat. Ned did ! He's smart, has a solid set of core beliefs, plus has the ability to deliver his message in a very appealing manner. His successful business background and community involvement, are such that even Republicans will have a hard time getting around it or be able to attack him there.

He has not officially declared, but you can go over to his web site and learn more about him and what he's all about.

I'm truly impressed and I think most of you will be too.

Bye Joe !!

Thus far I tolerated 'ol Holy Joe. It's so refreshing to see someone who is a true liberal, not DLC.

He needs someone to challenge his positions and it looks like that's exactly what he's going to do.

Go Ned Lamont!!!

6. Ned is a lot more than a
pest or distraction for Joe. He's very serious, and will give his all.

8. I agree
Especially someone like LIEberman should face their words. Being an incumbent doesn't entitle one to just say whatever and expect to get re-elected.
