U.S. military deaths in Iraq hit 3,052

As of Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at least 3,052 members of the U.S. military
have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an
Associated Press count. The figure includes seven military civilians. At least
2,434 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

The latest death reported by the military:

• Five soldiers were killed Saturday in a militia attack in Karbala.

• 13 servicemembers were killed Saturday in a helicopter crash northeast of Baghdad.

• A soldier was killed Saturday by a roadside bomb in northern Baghdad.

• A soldier was killed Saturday by a roadside bomb in Nineveh province.

• A soldier was killed Friday by a roadside bomb in Nineveh province.

• A Marine was killed Friday in Anbar province.

2. I will work to oust any Dem who gives the asshole
a standing ovation. They aren't part of the solution; they're part of the problem. Write your Dem reps (House and Senate) and TELL THEM NOT TO STAND for this lying, thieving, consciousless bastard.

4. TWENTY families lost a loved one today. Twenty. In one day in Iraq.
When will We The People 'surge' and drag the War Criminals out of our White House by their heels? When will the American People stand by their young service people and stop allowing their lives to be wasted on a War Crime?

Oh, gosh. I guess that's "off the table," too. Too bad the bodies of our young people aren't off the (operating) table. Now, there's a "table" for our Congress.
