I have two forum ideas that I have been waiting for....

The first is to expand the Greatest Page to include for example: monthly, yearly, and/or lifetime pages. The benefits being: better overview of DU events and invaluable news, people who rarely or newbies would be able to view the "top ten events" easily and get a better understanding of current "DU discussions." In addition it would stimulate remembrance of events that we consider important as a group. It may also enable us to identify trends and help to counteract tunnel vision and black and white thinking.



The second is the creation of a specific world politics/globalization forum.

I think considering the current social and governmental situation worldwide, we would benefit from a forum specifically focused on globalization. We should be giving alot of attention and study to the effects, processes, and outcomes of globalization.

Considering our recent win in congress we should be expanding our focus and formulate momentum in the direction of long term thinking and global consciousness. It is no longer all about Iraq we face growing danger of massive destabilization world wide.


In addition, I'm personally most interested in global trends and political news. I would use a specific world politics forum most often. I think it would stimulate a discussion of vital subjects to the people of the USA and people world wide.






I fear that unless we secure our rights now as we face one world government we will ultimately lose all our rights by default.
