at these things.

I may be with other groups, but if someone organizes a DU group I'll try to get to it.

I'm hoping someone in DC will figure out good spots to meet Friday night and Saturday night like we did last time in September '05. I keep checking the DC forum, but no one has taken the ball and run with it yet.

Last time we met at the Hawk & Dove on Friday night, which was great -- we had their downstairs room to ourselves. On Saturday,after the march, we met at RFDs, which was fine, but a bit out of the way -- it was way over by the MCI Center. It would be nice to have someplace closer to the march on Saturday night as well as Friday this time.

We also need someone to scope out a spot for us all to meet up before the march so we try to march together again. We could all meet for coffee or something first and then head over. I hope Skinner and/or Earl G will be there with our banner.

Unfortunately, since I'm not in DC, I'm really in no position to organize anything. I would post something in the DC forum and see if you get a better response now that it's getting closer. I'm going to be out of town from this coming Saturday through Wednesday with little, if any, computer access, so I hope by the time I get back to town something will be set up.

I hadn't been to DC either when I went in September 2005. I met so many great DUers on Friday night, and even though InTheFlow and I couldn't find the DU group to march with on Saturday, just being in a huge group like that all focused on the same thing is so inspiring. I hope to get a chance to meet you.
