Question about being thread-banned by a poster
Apologies to the mods; I'm not sure where such a question would go.

A user has you banned from ever replying to threads s/he starts. S/he posts a news article you wish to comment on. Are you forever prohibited from ever commenting on the news article, or can you repost the news article (to the same or a different forum) so that you may comment on it?

1. You can repost it
Unless it's in LBN - you can't repost articles in LBN. But you could repost it elsewhere.

3. Thank you for the reply
Is there any way to disable the "ban from reply" feature just for LBN, then?

4. Since only one thread is allowed in LBN...
why not ban the thread blockers from starting posts in LBN?

2. From what I gather
You can only reply to other people, not the person who has you blocked. So if the blocker started the thread, you can't reply in it.Nothing to stop you from starting your own on the same subject.I think that's why alot of folks don't like the feature.Too many threads.:hi:

5. It's the perfect rule for the Cowards Of DU, who can't abide a comeback to what they say.

8. I'm locking this now
The question was answered; we don't need another thread on the merits of this function.
