Did Chris Matthews chastise Ron Christie tonight about using the word "Democrat"?

I tuned in late and caught Christie using "Democrat" and correcting himself by pointing at Matthews (as if to acknowledge something Matthews told him) and then said "Democratic." Just wondering if Matthews called him out, if anyone saw the whole show. Thanks.
