2. Get real...The Dem's are simply a bunch of candy-asses all of them....
They'll approve the 100 billion of our tax dollars in the end, with all these stipulations attached to it...ALL for looks and it won't mean shit! Next year at this time we'll be in so deep with Iran, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan they'll have to approve the money for the wars for profit (right on through as planned until Bush leaves office)...Bush as always, will get his way. The Democrats will approve anything the fucking 'boy king' wants and for what....proof of their patriotism? The fucks are aiding and abetting his insanity!

12. La Pera,
I agree. I have been saying all along that just because we 'control' things is not meaning things will change...oh sure, we'll go thru the motions and all and in the end, nothing will change. 22,000 men will be sent (some without completing basic training) overseas to fight so Cheney and Lyn can retire in untold wealth and never again have to write a porn novel to pay the rent.

They SHOULD be investigating Cheney and his business dealings and then tie him to his traitorous ways....starting with the energy policy and the ramp up to the Iraqi war. Maybe Scooter's trial will bring some to light, but I ain't holding my breath on that either.

I could go on, but that's for another thread.

4. Some wingers will... they are just that *stupid*
AND they have been trained (like pavlov's dogs) to cheer/clap at anything that could be perceived as "1 for our side" or "1 against their side." Still plenty of idiot wingnuts left in congress that haven't yet fully comprehended how much the public despises them and how their views are held in disdain.

6. Hate to destroy your fantasy, but don't forget about...
Lieberman. If he could, he'd run down the aisle, kneel and start doing the Wayne's World, "We're not worthy!" bowing when Bush started to speak.

8. When is the state of the union address?????
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 06:00 PM by brettdale
I bet it will be a standing ovation, for every word that he says.

He will say 9/11 twelve times.
He will say Saddam twenty times.
He will say Freedom thirty times.
He will say Move Forward 10 times.
He will say Bin laden zero times.

and every mainstream Journo will whore it up, while saying, the liberal media are against him.

Their tackiness and hypocrisy know no bounds. I wouldn't bet on it. And I'm sure that Joementum will be just as happy as last year to receive a kiss from his hero.:puke:

11. The Chimperor's speech writers will have an especially tough time with this one.
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 06:05 PM by ocelot
They will have an awful lot of semantic tap-dancing to do, and it will be amusing, in a train-wreck sort of way, to listen to. Will His Royal Douchebagginess be drugged to the eyeballs, like he was on Wednesday; or will they let him have his fake Texas accent back?

And it's time to start working on the SOTU Drinking Game.
