Impeachment for National Security purposes?
I have been thinking about the potential impact of Impeaching Bush/Cheney on "terrorism." If we as a nation reject Bush and Cheney for their LIES and the murder of innocent people for profit, how will such an act be viewed in the Middle east? Will people be less inclined to hate America if we take a drastic stand against what Bush has done? Could it be the beginning of repairing our image around the world? Or, is the damage already done for decades/centuries to come?

Osama Bin Laden has noted Bush's approval ratings in recent diatribes, he pays attention to our political climate. I know I'm not the first to ponder this, but with Bush's latest fanning of the flames, the "impeach for national security" issue begs further examination.

I realize that if we do impeach with this a partial "rationale" we can't come out and say it as a party, but I wonder if there has been any formal analysis in this regard?

Thoughts?

1. Impeachment in a way
is part of the national security (as a remedy for protecting the citizens).

4. It works for me - they have put MORE of our lives in danger since taking office.
They can't be trusted to protect this nation because they are incapable of critical thought and lack strong comprehension skills.

6. They certainly can't be trusted, and they've demonstrated that time and time
again.

5. I think we're pretty much all in agreement that we have to stop this administration.
Impeachment is the Constitutionally-prescribed way to stop and remove them. We should definitely go ahead with it. It is also not infallible, as most of the opponents to impeachment here insist on pointing out ad nauseum, and that's why we shouldn't rely on any one method to do the job - we should be pursuing EVERY possible method of removing these dangerous criminals from the driver's seat, before the damage they do is irreparable.
