The battlespace is different, it's takes a keen eye to even see the acts of war being waged against you if it's this type. But, it's called Information Warfare, using secrecy and information (or disinformation) as weapons of war.

Information Warfare would include:
Jamming Television and Radio Transmissions
Hijacking Television and Radio Transmissions
Disabling Logistics Networks
Sabotaging Stock Exchange Transactions
Propaganda *
Exposing confidential information about political opponents to media *
Wiretaps *
Becoming more secretive, making it harder for opponents to find out information about you *
