So. the corporate media is denying us coverage of Rice before the Senate Relations Cmte.
They are reporting over it on MSNBC and CNN, without dedicating actual coverage.

That way, they can spin and edit the hearings for the nightly news cast tonight.

This should be front and center on all media outlets, I can't even find it on C Span....

I know I shouldn't be surprised at the complicity of the corporate media, however, this is ridiculous. MKJ

4. Yes, unfortunately, my ancient mariner computer struggles with live streams.
It would be nice if one news outlet felt this had any newsworthiness. MKJ

5. Corpmedia is a key part of the overall fascist agenda. Major corporations didn't buy
up all that control of broadcast media in the 80s and 90s to promote democracy and truth - they've been proving that since the mid90s. The public may be finally catching on.

6. I'm pissed...
DirecTv doesn't carry C-SPAN3 and like you my computer chews up streams and spits them out.

For the last 24 hours the cable networks have nattered ON and ON about Bush's speech - but when we can really get to the heart of this policy decision by hearing Rice testify the screen goes blank and they start covering car accidents in Portland.

Infuriating. What could possibly be more important?

10. will Cspan provide Podcasts of these hearings?

I'm spinning in circles trying to keep one ear to the stem cell arguments, and trying to listen to this via computer. Podcasts would help.
