What Do Our Enemies Think When They See Bush Talk?
Last night he looked terrified. He looked nervous. He looked like he had no idea what was going on. How does this make us look to the rest of the world? How does this make us look towards our enemies? We are loosing the war in Iraq. Bush's approval is down. What are Bush'supporters saying? How are they spinning it? How are they defending him?

What annoys me is Bush is making me and many others agree with the enemy. He making everything Bin Laden and Hussein say look to be true. I think these are things which need to be reminded from now til election day 2008. I'm affraid alot of people will have forgotten all about these things come November 08. Thought?

1. A bomb doesn't care how shaken the CinC is. It kills you just as dead.
Bush's demeanor doesn't matter as much as the carrier being moved near Iran.

4. I heard someone at work say yesterday
they think Bush wants to spend more money and send more troops because its his last desperate act to save his legacy. He knows we're going to loose this war and that will haunt him (among other things ) for the rest of his life. Sending more troops may help and not make it look as bad. Not sure if I believe thats the only reason, but could be. 3,000 + lives lost and thats just US civilians. This blood is on Bush's hands.

8. He is sending more troops into iraq, and so now the debate
is over whether the Democrats should cut off funding for the additional troops or not, not whether to pull out the troops or not. He is desperately trying to salvage his legacy, and the additional troops may shake up the situation enough for something to happen. He is hoping to quell most of the violence in Baghdad for a couple of months, then he can declare victory and start to withdraw, which many of his Republican senators and congressmen are advising.

5. They probably think "what were they thinking" when
Americans elected this man President. He always has a "deer in the headlights" look when he makes speeches, I think it is because he is trying to look concerned and dignified, and remember his lines. This makes his political enemies underestimate him with regard to his political acumen, his ability to win elections and win over public opinion. And he's got unscrupulous advisors.

7. They probably hear all his statements in reverse
As the world's largest terrorist cult, not the least bit affiliated with the 'american people',
bush stands on the brink of a major escalation of war crimes, squandering an entire speech to
discuss his government's planned murder of thousands of people who don't take kindly to
religious extremist americans and the nutty army cult.
