He's ripping Rep Chris Carney (D) a new asshole, bigtime, for being "smart enought to get us into this war, and smart enough to be against it once it went bad." Sure, dude's a dem, but Chris' ripping is non-partisan...it pertains to ANY of the war douchebags!

Carney had that deer in the headlights quality -- "Ooh...I'm on teeeveeeee!" But did a shitty job as spokesman. Which begs the question...why Chris Carney? We don't have any heavy hitters willing to tell Matthews to STFU tonight? Carney acknowledged that he was chosen to speak for the dems on Hardball tonight, but Matthews hammered him -- and rightly so -- about why the democrats aren't using their rebuttal to kick Bush's ass. Dude had no answer. Pretty sad performance.

I didn't catch it but Chris Carney is my new rep - worked hard for him too in our very Red District in NE PA but
Chris worked for Intel with Feith and Cheney and he still stands by the pre war intel he found
he has softened his stance since I first met and talked with him a couple of years ago but on this issue - he stands by his background and his military and intel experience - and I have argued with him myself
Mathews has a point - up to a point - Chris was not the guy in charge - he was a worker bee - and I for one hold Bush Cheny and Rumsfeld for the mess we are in
they should be tried for war crimes
