Is Hannity riffing Colbert?
Apparently Sean Hannity has a new propaganda program on Sunday--disturbingly titled "Hannity's America," I guess so as to distinguish it from one the rest of us live in. If I had cable, or a television, or even an inclination to ever watch Fox, I guess I'd be more up on these things. But from what I read, Hannity's got a feature on that show called "Enemy of the State." For the inaugural installment of this feature, he's named America's greatest villain... actor Sean Penn! And then placed the Madonna veteran's mug up on a board alongside such other known al-Qaeda operatives as Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, and Barbra Streisand.

Now is this just my imagination, or is Hannity more or less copying a page from Stephen Colbert's shtick? How is this not "Dead to Me" or "Wag of the Finger"? And as for his array of villains--Alec Baldwin, Kim Jong-il, Michael Moore--did our friend Sean just rent Team America: World Police this weekend?

Get some new material, man! And put a damn tie on while you're at it. You freakin' look like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad!

3. Well, they did catch Barbara Steisand running guns for Saddam.
Oh wait, not they didn't, they was Rumsfeld. The guess the reality of the situation is pretty much irrelevant.

God, someone needs to give that guy a reality lesson in a dark alley somewhere.
