2. john fund thinks that polls showing a majority of Americans are against
the surge is a liberal bias. Fund is an asshat.

3. I love Craig Crawford.
Edited on Tue Jan-09-07 09:29 PM by BerryBush
He's really come out swinging these past two nights against the whole idea that "the only way to do news fairly is to show two different sides and give them equal time." Even if one side is the FACTS and the other is the LIES.

on edit: OK, John Fund is majorly delusional. He actually thinks *'s poll numbers will go up after the speech tomorrow. Oh man, whatever he's smoking, I want some!

5. Fund says it's a slow news day. Meaning not enough good news for Chimpy.

11. Me too. "Being objective is not the same as being neutral"
That bonehead who was whining about just doesn't understand that point. I was yelling at the TV wnating to literally punch his image and then Crawford made my point and I was able to relax a bit. So were my dogs, who were wondering what was wrong with their mama. Again. ;)

13. He had a great line a while back about "staying the course"
Back when it first became "stay the course" vs "cut and run" - he said Thelma & Louise stayed the course, and they went off a cliff.

6. O'Reilly hates NBC because of Olbermann.
Seems pretty obvious, doesn't it? Can't wait for Jan. 18, when Colbert has him on. Look what Stephen did to Bush. He will be polite to O'Reilly (mostly), but 5 to 1 that he mentions Keith Olbermann. O'Reilly will storm off when it happens. That's my guess, anyway.

7. Colbert will

Colbert will try to out O'Reilly O'Reilly. The fact that O'Reilly is going on the show at all shows that he understands the equation. He understands that Colbert is mocking him and a confrontation will only make him look ridiculous (if that's even possible at this point). I don't think we'll see a repeat of the Terri Gross Fresh Air Interview.

8. DU format
You don't have to repeat the thread title in the message box. I did that when I was new at DU.

But you could type:

Subject: Colbert will..

Message: ...try to out O'Reilly O'Reilly (etc.)
