Have I heard correctly? "Job Corps for Iraqi's" with More Money when we
have folks here in the US working for WalMart without health insurance for minimum wage?

What happened to letting the "Iraqi's find Solutions to their own Problems" which they can only do if we WITHDRAW TROOPS?

Iraqi's are not DUMB and if we GET THE HELL OUT then the Middle and Upper Class will RETURN to RE-BUILD their Country.

I thought Bush was all about Entreprenuership....letting folks take care of their OWN NEEDS!

What's with these NeoCons that they want Jobs Programs for Iraqi's and NOT for AMERICANS!

1. I believe Bush's message to us can be summed up as a cross between
"survival of the fittest" and "die, sucker".

3. What I don't understand is this..........
For almost four years this republican government has been funneling billions and trillions of dollars to Halliburton WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO BE REBUILDING IRAQ.

What did they do with the money and why are they being held accountable.

7. Yup. They had the contract to do the rebuilding
before the first bomb fell (sorry, cant provide a link, it's just something I remember from back then). No-bid contract, of course.

4. If you think the money will actually go to actual Iraquis
there's a very pretty bridge outside you can have cheap. This is all about transferring as much money as quickly as possible from the treasury to Bush's buddies. A jobs training program is worth at least a billion to whoever gets the contract. Bids, anybody?

5. We've had almost 4 Years of Humanitarian American Tax Dollars going
to support the Iraqi's: Roads, Hospitials, Electricity and Restoring their Marshlands and everything else we took from them under past US Administrations!

What MORE CAN WE DO FOR THESE PEOPLE? We have DESTROYED their country...yet with Billions over Four Years we have DONE NOTHING? :eyes:

Help me WITH THIS?

6. Well have any actual roads, hospitals,
or powerplants been built? Have the marshlands been restored? Just because that's what Bushco says the money is for doesn't mean that's where it's going.

8. From what I've read and other DU'ers who read articles have seen ...
the Iraqi's are using whatever means they can to get air-conditioning running...NPR has reported that having a baby in an Iraqi hospital is impossible because of "road bombs," and that most of the Doctors and Uppper Middle Class have fled Iraq for "safety reasons.

So the Poor and lower Middle are faced with road hazards, lack of electricity and schools blown up that our TROOPS ARE BUILDING FOR THEM and RE-BUILDING and that EVERYTHING is being CONSTANTLY RE-BUILT IN IRAQ...by our OWN TROOPs.

When did our Military get into the Road, School and Infrastructure RE-BUILDING BUSINESS? I thought that was why the "Private Contractors" like "Blackwater and the Rest" were there for...aside from washing Troops Laudrey and escorting TRANSPORTS!

Wait...Halliburton Cooks the Troops food and does the Laundry!...SO it means that our Military is there to kick down doors to find the "Insurgents" and make sure Iraq is SAFE FOR THE IRAQI's.

:eyes: There's something very WRONG HERE about "DELEGATION OF DUTY".......

9. I read Shrub will be asking for a billion more
just for Iraqi reconstruction aid.
Time is running out until '08 for him and Cheney's Haliburton buddies to pick the money carcas clean. And just like the war, he'll let the next president worry about reconstructing Louisiana and Mississippi.
