Edited on Mon Jan-08-07 06:12 PM by Taverner
Hell, I get at least 50 MPG in my Prius - and that's a five seater (and a comfortable 5-seater at that)

I have a friend who hypermiles with his Prius and gets 65 MPG

6. That's what I was thinking too
That car looks like it should get at least 60mpg.

I would like to see an electric version of that for commuting and grocery shopping

3. Honda CRX 50 mpg+
and if I am not mistaken, the Honda CRX has much more room and is very speedy. Not to mention the CRX looks safer..

9. This car would be perfect in SF
I saw them in Europe in 2001 and have been looking forward to their eventual introduction here in the US. This car would be great for what I need (ease of parking and reasonable gas mileage). Not to mention there's also the 'cool' factor. :D

11. That looks small enough enough to get lodged under an 18-wheeler
or a Bronco.

12. I drove one of these over in England...
Not that driving in England wasn't hard enough, but that little matchbox was really fun. I was like a motorcycle with four wheels! For as small as it is it really should get 60+ miles per gallon...
