Iraq To Bring More Troops Into Baghdad

January 8, 2007 -- Iraq plans to bring in more troops to Baghdad to take part in a major security operation.

An adviser to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said two brigades from northern Iraq -- made up mostly of Kurdish soldiers -- and one from the mainly Shi'ite south will be called in.

BTW Both Turkey and Iran have bombed or shelled Kurdish areas
inside of Iraq's border with in the last 6 months.

Seems like this latest plan will only accomplish more and more blood shed.

So what's the point...? I guess the point is, using US support to raze Sunni areas and 'clear' them out, otherwise known as ethnic cleansing?...
