I just read the Comments...
on another site, in one of which the comment mentioned that Laura Bush had filed for separation papers. Was that: 1) a hoax; 2) a rumor; or 3) just wishful thinking? Anyone have (or have heard) confirmation of that? Remember, a few months ago she was supposed to have been registered at one of the local DC hotels, alone. True or false?

I took so long to respond. I was looking for the link (plus on the phone in 2 separate calls). The comments were attached to Molly Ivins column written yesterday (1/6) from the Chicago Tribune and picked up by ICH: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article16085.htm. The writer of the comment didn't sound terribly reliable...that's why I posted, to see if there was any truth to it. I think I'll do a google with her name and see what happens.

4. Yellow rags carried the story
more or less around September of last year, as well as the fact that Bush was hitting the sauce again

The ultimatum was either her or Jack (as in Jack Daniels)

The National Inquirer HAS broken some national stories in the past... so there MIGHT (keep your sense of humor on this one) be a grain of truth to that one
