Biden obviously knows a lot about foreign policy....
But he gives great reason to question his judgement. All the knowledge in the world does not necessarily mean someone will make the proper decision. Biden was adamant about going to war, sure he had questions, but he never was against it. He also is one of those "in another six months" types who keep up with the same criticisms yet never quite get to the end of the rope. He is against troop withdrawal as well. He has reasons for it, explains them well, but you know, he could explain his rationale for going to war in the first place pretty well too, but that doesn't mean he was right.

So making people like Lindsay Graham look stupid on television with your own intellect and knowledge of foreign affairs does not exactly translate to actually knowing the right thing to do in the end.

1. He's great at talking out of both sides of his mouth
and then there's the infamous bankruptcy bill, making down-on-their-luck citizens slaves to the credit card companies. :puke:

2. He is a neo-liberal
and will take us down the same foreign policy road as Bush. The only reason he is mad is because Iraq wasn't an easy defeat.

6. Ah, yes, a neoliberal
I've been referring to them as the I-would-have-done-it-better dems. But neoliberal sums it up nicely. :toast:

3. That's why I like Wesley Clark.

Ok, so he's not a serving politician, but in terms of war and diplomacy - he's been there, done that, came back with the blood-soaked T-shirt.

It's not a case of "he knows what he's talking about" - he's lived what he's talking about.

4. Clark is scary smart
And a very well-rounded intellect too. Has a science background, teaching, economics, was a soldier, has diplomatic experience. Not a bad guy to support.

5. Biden sings whatever tune is politically popular.
He has, however, done the impossible. He has made the term "politician" even more distasteful than it already was.
