Thanks for the weather, Mr. Cheney.

6. As much as it's really nice to have the warmth, I can't help but wonder if this'll
affect the flora in the spring.

Everyone's been out walking around here in the Village in teeshirts!
:hi:

24. I'm concerned about the springtime too. I love it when my perennials bloom
but I'm not ready for it yet.
As to the Village in teeshirts, how cool! Ooops, how warm!!!
My sons went out in their teeshirts here too. I had to stay in and work but made occasional visits to the outside of my home just to Experience it.

budding, so the trees might be too. My rose bush, which was cut back in the fall is now sprouting new leaves. It's more like early spring.I saw on this AMs NY Today Show that the cherry trees are blossoming at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.

8. I was weeding - in January!
I live right outside Washington DC, and it felt like May. The weeds were coming up all over the flowerbeds so I spent a couple of hours digging them out. The lawn needs mowing too. This is crazy.

10. In New Jersey...
I saw at least three convertibles with the tops down today. I had the A/C on in my car. Oh, and flowers are blooming in front of my house. I'm going to have to mow the lawn soon, I see, as well. Don't get me wrong-I love summer and warm weather-I hate snow and the cold-but I'd like to know that this is all the result of Mother Nature deciding that we shouldn't have to go spend our money in "freeper" states in the winter when we want to get warm-that this is some nice natural thing-rather than global warming and the end of the world. My grandfather died outside shoveling snow-I'd like this weather to never end, but I just have a bad feeling, like W is going to kill all of us in tne Northeast because we are all (including all the animals in the zoos) smarter than him and we rid DC of a lot of garbage.

12. I know
I'm doing my Spring cleaning in January. My spring bulbs have sprouted and looks like they'll be in full bloom in a few days. Hurumph, what Golbal Warming? President Gore, please report to the White House ASAP. And bring Gen. Wes Clark with you.

17. Wow! Your post
is confusing to me because your profile says you are a "Proud Resident of Democratic Volusia County, Florida"!

Cause, I was going to suggest that you could go down to St Petersburg, Florida in the winter..even though the guv is freep, St Pete is a bastion of Democratic Principles. B-)

16. Yeah, and Colorado has gotten 4 feet of snow in three weeks
They just had a record avalache in Berthold pass on U.S. 40 - - 100 feet wide and 15 feet deep.

When all that snow melts there's gonna be massive flooding.

But remember: there's no such thing as global warming! Smirk said so.
