Poll question: Which photo will we see first, Bush leaving White House for good or last troops leaving Iraq?
You could also take into account Bush leaving before the end of his term like Nixon or because his mom gave him a time out from being president.

12. huh?
impeachment, presumably resulting in bush's removal, to be followed by (someone else's) withdrawal of troops...

how would THAT make us see troops out first?

2. The last troops leaving Iraq
won't come any time in the next 2 years. I just don't see it happening that soon. We've made Iraq into a complete and total wreck. I think we'll have some kind of military presence there for a long time to come.

8. making it a wreck and why troops will stay are unrelated. Bush will have them stay to enforce oil
concessions.

13. You really think there is no relationship
between the mess there and the possibility of troops remaining? You're right that they will remain to enforce oil concessions, but part of the reason, I believe, will be to aid, in however small a way, the effort to restore some kind of livable order.

Right or wrong, effective or not, troops will be there the next two years, at least. I was, and am, only answering the question "will they or won't they" in 2 years. I regret saying the word "wreck". It doesn't really matter why in order to answer the question. Whatever the reason, I think we will have troops in Iraq two years from now.

3. Bush will leave office first.
The troops will still be in Iraq on January 20, 2009.

10. But it is important to note...
They will almost certainly be out by January 20, 2010 if not sooner.

4. Too many GOP's against Bush's surge action, Bush see's heavy defeat
pulling out of Iraq, --> Poppy reminds shrub that Kennedy didn't blink first in the Cuban missile crisis and America sent a message around the world.

The trouble with the Bush's is they think their better then the Kennedy's but Bush is an obvious statement of lack of leadership.

5. Is that meant to be a serious question?
We'll see the polar ice cap melt before the last troops leave Iraq.

9. Sadly, Bush will leave his mess for others to clean up, just like the rest of his life.
