Here's how you (yes, YOU) can get involved with the demo in DC on Jan 27

United for Peace and Justice is organizing a mass demonstration in DC on January 27 to send a message to the new Congress: Act NOW to end the war! You'll find all the info on the UFPJ web site: http://www.unitedforpeace.org

Here's a mini guide on how to get involved. Add your ideas as well.

1. First and foremost, plan to come to DC!
   
   • On the UFPJ site there is a ride board with buses, vans, cars and trains being organized from many cities: http://www.unitedforpeace.org/ride.php
     (I'll be traveling from Rome, if that helps make wherever you are seem a little closer.)
     
     
   • There is also a housing board with offers/requests (http://www.unitedforpeace.org/housing.php) and a list of cheap digs in DC (http://www.unitedforpeace.org/article.php?id=3042)

2. Spread the word!

   • Add the J27 banner to your signature on DU.

3. Endorse!
