George W. bUsh and his catapulting bullshit
Edited on Sat Jan-06-07 02:10 PM by LynnTheDem
George "moran" bUsh;

"Today, Saddam Hussein was executed after receiving a fair trial"
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/12/20061229-15.html

Oh? Really?

Reality;

-Amnesty International;
Saddam Hussein's trial deeply flawed and unfair

http://www.amnestyusa.org/youth/plugged_in/0611/hussein_trial.html

-Human Rights Watch
Saddam Hussein's trial for crimes against humanity was undermined by so many flaws, including political interference and failures to disclose evidence properly, that his conviction is unsound.

George "moran" bUsh;

"the kind of justice he denied the victims of his brutal regime."
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/12/20061229-15.html

Oh? Really?

So the "deeply flawed" and "unfair" "show trial" Saddam Hussein received via George W. bUsh in the name of the United States of America was denied to Hussein's victims? FACT: Saddam Hussein was tried and sentenced to death for signing the death penalty warrants of 148 Dujail residents. AFTER they were show-tried by the Iraqi court and found guilty;

Reality;

-Ba'athist documents record that at least 143 Dujail men were tried before a state security panel and executed in 1985."

-Documents Admitted into Evidence During the Dujail Trial ... the Revolutionary Court where they were found guilty without a real trial, sentenced to death...
http://www.asil.org/insights/2006/12/insights061218.html

-In al-Bander's "revolutionary" court, 148 townspeople were tried and sentenced to death.

bush & bLiar on the verdict to hang Hussein;

"we respect their decision as that of a sovereign nation."
http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20991632-601,00.html

Saddam hanging an Iraqi affair
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L06735457.htm

Iraq was a sovereign nation under Saddam Hussein, too. And the US supported the decisions of Hussein...until we decided, 25 years later, to NOT support those decisions. And now we support the same decisions by the same type of thugs; our new Iraqi puppets.

Anyone still wonder why the world views us as hypocritical scum?

If so, you just might be a MFing moran of a rightwingnut.
