1,500 tickets for Boise State ballroom sold out in 10 minutes; former vice president will speak on global warmingBoise State University has moved former Vice President Al Gore's speech to the Taco Bell Arena after about 1,500 tickets for the event, formerly planned for a ballroom in the student center, were sold or given away in 10 minutes.
The speech, the keynote to a conference sponsored by BSU's Frank Church Institute, is titled, "Global Warming: Beyond the Inconvenient Truth." It's scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 22.
