But if they're going to put them under oath, they sure as hell aren't going to announce it publicly beforehand, otherwise why would they show up?

I am not sure what the legal remedies are to that - if one is subpeonaed by Congress and refuse to testify under oath... then what? "Contempt of Congress"? Not sure what the tools are in order to compel testimony under oath.

doesn't mean they would be truthful.
Lying under oath is pretty common.
(and these creeps are LIARS to begin with)
