Just caught a bit... When she was reporting from Capitol Hill, it was not unusual for Reps to have babysit, chauffeur, or pick up dry cleaning. Right is dredging up old bullsh*t from years ago, when everyone did it.

Any one hear all of this? more details?

I missed that part in WJ. I watch it everyday but, missed this part.

anyway, the scandal. banking scandal. people were drawing out money in loans against thier paychecks.
Repugs made it into a big deal and the press jumped. Little things like dry cleaning and stuff got sucked in.
It was not as big a deal as the repuke and the faithful press made it out to be.
The press was primed from making fun of Bill and wanting a change.

It's embarrassing to have to be taught such recent history.

against their paychecks" specifically, but I do remember that Representative Dan Rostenkowski was sent to prison for writing checks that were held for months at the House Post Office........
