If Mr. Bush wants to see our mail, then so be it.
I suggest we photocopy our mail and send it directly to the White House. He may review it if he so chooses.

I say it's time for a tea party. I will do it tomorrow. Nothing more than our mail, photocopied and then sent in an envelope with the following little explanation:

"Dear Mr. Bush,

You seem very interested in the contents of our mail. Enclosed you will find my mail from yesterday. You may read it if you so choose.

Sincerely,
No Paine, No Gain."

I do not send much US mail these days. I use the telephone which his SchutsStaffel already can listen to.

He can also have his SS read my email as well. If you don't want him to get what you're writing then learn to read, write and speak in Klingon. Just kidding.

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Remember, just send in your mail, photocopied. It will undoubtedly go threw some sort of screening process, but I hope we can make this protest have impact. It's not much, granted, but who knows, maybe it will draw some attention to this problem.

15. I seem to remember after 9/11 the White House had 8 tractor-trailers
filled with mail that was never looked at.....danger of anthrax, ya know. It was all destroyed of w/o being looked at. (Which was kind of weird too b/c Pickles had asked school kids to send in $1.00 each (remember that one????) I'd bet that hundreds of thousands of school kids sent it their dollars. What happened to all of that money anyway? Did anyone ever open the mail (I don't think so....) EIGHT tractor-trailers filled with mail. Destroyed.

What DOES happen to all of the mail that the White House receives these days???? Incinerated without so much as a looksee.

19. There's an upside here.
When I get bills in the mail, I won't pay them...when they sic the bill collector on me, I'll tell them to check with 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and see if they've reviewed it yet. Can you imagine every American using this excuse? How quick would George the Decider change his mind on this one?

Seriously, though...who uses mail anymore...except anthrax mailers? hmmmmm....I'm seeing more upside here.

I'd just like someone to ask the El pResidente a simple question: why? Do terrorists write notes to each other using 1st class mail? As far as I can tell, 80% of the US Postal Service load is sending ad flyers and other 3rd class crap that 95% of the public promptly throws in the trash. I guess he wants to keep a watchful eye on the birthday and christmas card terrorists and the social security checks.

You know, very bland, non-political stuff........

Until the final paragraph.

I've already saved my junk mail for the week and have addressed and stamped an 11x14 envelope to Mr. Bush c/o The White House. I think this is an excellent tactic.

Oh, oh, oh! Before you forward mail, take a black marker and stroke out information that you think should be redacted. Get creative.
Security clearances are not only rated on a level of sensitivity, but on a need to know. And a need to know has to be properly justified.
And to make sure they understand why you've redacted the information, write "Protected" or "Secret" on the envelope.

You guys are going to have so much fun! I almost wish I lived there.
