Register for the UFPJ Congressional Advocacy Day
Bring the Mandate for Peace to Washington!

http://www.unitedforpeace.org/modinput4.php?modin=121 IMHO if we stop being active, we will let the more progressive members of congress down, and then we may all be let down. They need support of their constituents speaking UP!
Due to election FRAUD we only have a small majority. They need us to stay active, visiting congress (writing, calling etc.) and demonstrating I think is still important to remind them all that peace and accountability are very important.

Come to Washington, D.C., on January 27. Join in the march for peace being organized by United for Peace and Justice, and impeachment events on January 28th being planned by Progressive Democrats of America.
Make appointments now to meet with your Congress Member on January 29th to demand impeachment and peace. Get organized with others in your Congressional District.

1. Nice Dennis Kucinich video showing peace protest :) and from VR...
http://kucinich.us/node/1518/play I think many of our various efforts work together for our common good.

this is from the Velvet Revolution website.
12/31/06: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney Must Resign. For the Good of this Nation
As we enter the new year, VR renews our call for George W. Bush, Richard Cheney and their minions to do the only respectable thing in the wake of the myriad disasters they have wrought on our country and our world. It is time for them to resign and spare the nation two more painful years spent by Congress bringing accountability for the recklessness and disregard for our Constitution.....

and more...
"March on Washington, Rally in Washington, DC on Jan. 27th ..." http://velvetrevolution.us/index.php?Main=OUT_OF_IRAQ

Please support our progressive dems' efforts to do the right thing. If we don't demonstrate that peace and accountability are still a major concern, it will be harder for them to do the job we elected them to do. Remember that due to election fraud, we still only have a small majority in congress.
this was me right before the election, and a couple pics of our local Jan 1st. vigil.

If Bu**sh** gets his surge, we'll be at 4000 quite soon. I also fear that the compromise will be more bombs (nuclear?), and or stay the course.
