Has the Media Called Bush's IRAQ Commander shuffle a FLIP-FLOP yet?
Cause if they haven't, they need to. I realize that the corporate media is covering this story, but have they called it what it is.....an unmitigated Flip-Flop of the worst kind?

This was then....

George Bush answering Iraq questions from the press on 3/31/06
GEORGE W. BUSH: Bob, the decisions about our troop levels will be made by General Casey and the commanders on the ground.
They're the ones who can best judge whether or not a presence of coalition troops create more of a problem than a solution -- than to be a part of the solution.

Secondly, I've answered the question on civil war. Our job is to make sure the civil war doesn't happen. But there will be -- but if there is sectarian violence, it's the job of the Iraqi forces, with coalition help, to separate those sectarian forces.

Bush revamps US military in Iraq
01/04/07
President George W Bush is to make a number of key changes in the US military leadership as part of his fresh strategy for Iraq, officials say.
There will be a new head of US Central Command and a new ground commander.
Mr Bush is expected to deliver a speech next week unveiling a strategy that could include thousands more US troops.

Maybe it’s because……

The uniformed leadership has opposed sending additional forces without a clear mission, seeing the idea as ill-formed and driven by a desire in the White House to do something different even without a defined purpose.
A senior aide said later that Bush would not let the military decide the matter. "He's never left the decision to commanders," said the aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity so Bush's comments would be the only ones on the record.

Will the media call Bush out on this, like the Left Blogosphere is doing?
