Let the ugliness begin.
Yes, it's going to get real, real ugly now, I heard the republiks grumbling yesterday when Nancy mentioned w's failed war, and they sat on their pompous, sore loser asses rather than applaud. They speak of bipartisanship, but we all know what's coming, a shit storm.

The parties are over, the hand shaking and congratulations faded, now it's time for the real business, reversing the total disasters in the wake of the ape.

This next two years will be exciting, terrifying, devastating, and invigorating, we must brace ourselves for one hell of a fight, the ultimate battle against rampant tyranny.

1. Yep and they can just kiss my Democratic Ass
This Donkey isn't feeling the least bit bipartisan. It's time to kick the shit out of the elephants. I don't really care if that isn't PC enough. I'm done with them.

9. Damn straight!
The hell with bipartisanship. I will stand up for fairness, though. I'm all on board for the "treat the Repubs like they treated us" course of action. /snark

It's vindictive, but who gives a rat's ass. These Republicans need to be humiliated and marginalized.

I'm a little bitter, and ready for a fight.

I'm changing my icon today. It's the donkey with the kiss my ass on it. Truth in advertising, baby, truth in advertising! Yeah!

4. I saw an interesting bumper sticker yesterday or the day before.
"Democrat, until the revolution begins." I wonder what they are going to be after the revolution begins? A revolutionary?

5. A s*** storm is coming?
We've been in one for a while, since Bush invaded Iraq. varying degrees of shitstorminess since 1990. The 110th congress is just a little shift in the wind.

Reps talk about bipartisanship, so did Pelosi. There hasn't been much bipartisanship in the past few years and there won't be in the next few years. To the victors go the spoils, with an in-your-face end-zone dance. If you got the votes, you don't need bipartisanship.

Nancy and the Democratic Leadership have their own version of a "contract with America" and it starts with her 100-hour plan. Most of that stuff looks pretty non-controversial, sort of low-hanging fruit. I don't know if there's anything in there that gets us out of Iraq, so I'm less-than-enthusiastic about it. Maybe if Cindy Sheehan keeps the subject alive in the Democratic Leadership's mind.

The applause during speeches has always cracked me up. No matter who's speaking, half the house will cheer and clap, the other half will sit somberly. So, nothing unusual about reps going quiet on a democratic oration.

6. Let the investigations begin.
Ugliness that does not seem to be self supporting only turns off the citizenry. First, we need to inform, then let the pathway lead where it may..

10. I expect the poor dears are a bit nervous.
After all, they know so much better than we do just what felonies they've committed.
