WTF is this supposed to be, a THREAT?
Edited on Wed Jan-03-07 12:29 AM by undergroundpanther
These two things a threat disguised as"prophecy" and Dc agencies moving out of"blast range"...taken together ARE disturbing..

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In what has become an annual tradition of prognostications, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson predicted Tuesday that a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007.
"I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070102/ap_on_re_us/robertson_prediction

Um mm after all the agencies move out of DC and the DEM'S move into congress..Makes me wonder...coikidink? I wonder considering both assholes are so tied in with Rev. Moon. The Neocon jerks said in the PNAC document..they desired the happening of a catalyzing event like pearl harbor..Deja Vu anyone?

New Rural Sales Pitch: Work Outside D.C.'s Fallout Zone

Winchester and its neighbors along Interstate 81 in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley have much to recommend themselves to potential employers, including a low cost of living, access to a major highway and views of the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains.More recently, though, the area has been successfully trumpeting another attribute: It is just outside the "blast zone."Development is booming along Interstate 81 near Winchester, Va., as federal agencies move to relocate offices. In a little-noticed migration with implications for both greater Washington and the valley, several federal agencies, including the FBI, are relocating operations to the I-81 corridor.
Helping drive the shift is the government's emphasis on security in a post-Sept. 11 world, which turns Winchester's location 75 miles from Washington into a geographic ideal.

It is far enough from the capital to escape the fallout of a nuclear explosion.

1. His stupid yearly predictions are always wrong.
I am not sure who he prays to, but they aren't hooking him up with good info.

he flat-out said his intent was to get power so he could bring about nuclear armageddon and fulfill his sick view of his "religion's" prophecy

7. not wishing him ill
that'd be so wrong, but we won't have to worry about patty boy much longer, he's going to meet his maker relatively soon as he's like ancient right? guessing 80 w/o googling it... his time'll come like all of us.. it's a shame he has to account for saying those horrible things about so many people (like the gays and 9/11), but if he is saved and truthfully just delusional Christ will forgive him, the question is, does he know what he's doing is totally hateful?

what is with these right wing fundies making crazy comments and getting outed for sex crimes all the time... sheesh... freaks on a leash. ha...

21. I wish him ill. Not shy about sayin' it..
:hi:

That man has devoted his life to injecting toxins into our society, turning ordinary people's simple faith into a weapon of mass destruction. His hands are filthy with the lucre he's collected, and covered with blood, no less, from the diamonds he harvests. And now he's playing Capo for his God-father once again?

Ick. The man is poison. If he keeled over on the toilet tomorrow, the world would be measurably better place.

Pat, drop dead. And make it early in 2007, would you? We've waited long enough. :hurts:

19. Look up "project blue beam".
Look up Helioprojector, or hologram projector.Look up real time graphics and video editing software..Nothing on TV is live anymore it has a five minute delay before it goes on your broadcast. These asshole bullies almost got everything technology wise to pull off an Apocalypse show right to the script. They I think planned this shit for a long time, stoked certain people play them groom them because they know civilizations can only grow to a certain point than the Earth can't sustain them. And everything goes haywire and the evolutionary bottleneck comes as the planet tries to cope, The fuckers than go up in space stay a generation or more, than come back when the generations that knew and hated them have died off, than they do the'cargo cult thing' to the survivors. And become"gods" and the game begins again.
Stephen hawkins said the only way humans will survive is to go into space..wonder why bush is so keen on the moon all of a sudden? Why suddenly commercial space flight is available only to those who can pay a huge sum?? These fuckers are elitists and if gods doesn't bless you with ten million bucks and something for nothing you ain't their kind of(sociopath) people.

9. He's an ass yes
But he can threaten someone's life, threaten another countries leader, and declare the desire for a supreme court judge to die, ON TV yet he isn't arrested for it.If anyone else was to say such threats on TV they'd be locked up or at least questioned about it. Why isn't he? Why aren't certain rich asshole bully THUGS facing any consequences for their actions? Are they is some clique that makes them immune to the laws the rest of us must deal with? Why? What scares me is sociopaths like robertson are running this country. And some of them know how to shut their mouths around people and do their evil deeds behind closed doors.

6. The threat is developers and keeping them happy
What spurs on moving enmass to somewhere else is not terror threats but, keeping developer buddies happy and rich.
Developers are probably one of the biggest threats to the environment from all thier mowing down of land, trees, ect. and putting up xerbias and minimalls and box stores and office parks.

50 miles?? Hmm, this sounds more like the working of real estate prices than the impact of any radiological capacity any likely enemy's likely to have in the next 50 years. "The Lord didn't say nuclear"? Wow, such foresight... that has to clinch it.

18. nuclear fallout
from a smaller bomb,or a controlled blast.
remember these fuckers live sheltered lives and their homes I am sure protect them from the toxic stuff they will use to kill people with. These assholes probably have technology they keep away from average people like us.
Also remember the military is sometimes stupid, after all they once thought fallout was harmless and told school kids to hide under desks during a nuke attack during the cold war as if that would do anything.

Two miles is more likely from any imminent threat.

Beyond that means a real change in the world.

That's what we're about. Don't give the hysteria any credence.

“When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD…”

34. Robertson oughta know--since he wants to do it himself.

"I read your book," Robertson said. "When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer.' I mean, you get through this, and you say, 'We've got to blow that thing up,'" Robertson said.

Of course, Robertson's predictions are usually pretty dependable: if he predicts it, it ain't gonna happen. Russia invading Israel. Tsunamis on the American coasts. Jay Rockefeller becoming President.

Come to think of it, I'm going to write Robertson an email and ask him to have God tell him that I will remain poor and sexually inactive for the rest of my life.
