4. Friend of mine says he looks gay. I dunno--but Jon did make fun
of him in a gay way at the beginning of the show. Hmmmm. Truth be told, I think most of them are repressed homosexuals. Bush, Roberts and Alito--and more.

14. He really looked la-la
kind of like a goofball prancing up the stairs. It was weird.

It is almost like he can't believe he is there or something.

9. "like he can't believe he is there or something"
Bingo.

He was looking around, not confidently but starstruck, or dazed.

10. BobbleHead Alito
Both TDS and Colbert were excellent last night. Watching David Cross on the repeat right now. Freaking Hilarious. "Minimum wage is just line item communism".

11. He reminded me of Jeff Bridges in Starman....
...he looked utterly uncomfortable in human skin, almost alien-like. Of course, Alita is an ugly goober, and Jeff Bridges is a hottie, so the comparison ends with the oddness aspect.

12. That was my emotion too
I couldn't believe the guy was actually there, IN the robes, ON the floor during the SOTU. But the craven, accomodationist Dems got their way.

But it was an interesting moment of actual humanity. That's probably the way Justice Robert Jackson or Thurgood Marshall or William O. Douglas or Stephen Breyer felt, too. "I'm an actual liberal and I'm HERE." I miss that.

13. I turned it off before that but what about
The bit Bush said about man-animal hybrid in the state of the union? Anybody think it's a warning to Cheney? I swear it's like living in a sci-fi novel this country.
