Strange contrast of long, long Ford funeral and quick lynching.
Lovely music, many moves of coffin to this house and that house, many days of funeral, all those leaders sitting quietly for this really down to earth lovely appointed guy from the 70's.

Quick lynching of Saddam with grisly footage sent round the world. Who is in control of Iraq? Did the lynching happen the Green Zone. No I guess he was handed over just before. I am not commenting because of appreciation for this brutal killer leader who was lynched. But.

What is happening? America what leaders have on what clothes?

1. With regards to the Ford funeral.......
my daughter asked me this evening why they don't just bury that poor man and leave his family alone?

And Betty Ford looks real tired........I really want this all to be over, mostly for her sake!

3. The juxtaposition between
Saddam and Ford's send offs was mindblowing.

4. I'm sure the funeral would have been shorter if not for New Year's?
I don't think the lynching could have been faster. That was faster than the old west.

If what is going on in the Cradle of Civilization isn't civilized, does this mean we're in the Graveyard of Cibilization?

Or can we come to our senses and all start over again.

How to crash two countries with one administration.
