If you don't remember, here's the picture from 2005:

Guess what he has on his roof this year? IMPEACH W... (Some of the lights were burned out and the line "I" was a bit saggy, but you get the idea...)

9. I know his name... he was interviewed by the alternative newspaper which ran the photo
last year.

But I've never met the man himself. We drive back and forth by his house a lot! It's between our house and my daughter's home, on the other side of town.

31. I think he's in the majority, at least around here, this year.
Especially because the whole Congress went blue... although I'm still worried about the Senate and Tim Johnson. He's supposed to be recovering, but has NOT spoken yet.

33. "On Dasher, on Dancer, on Prancer and Vixen... On Comet, on Cupid,
on Donner and Blitzen..."

I was surprised how much of "The Night Before Christmas" I had memorized from my youth. They read it to the children on Christmas eve at the Lights Ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist fellowship (we don't call ourselves a church).

I mouthed the words straight through, with only one little hiccup. Funny thing is, I was raised in the Jewish faith!

"To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall,
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all."

Not too bad with melodies, either.

You're probably good at mathematics. I'm a dodo bird when it comes to that. Thank goodness for a husband who does all the finances.

Have a happy New Year!

46. Hello, NYC! Well, not in this particular couple!
I love music and can't do math to save my life... no interest or talent for it.

Hubby likes music OK, but not as much as I do... but he's a math whiz!

So much for theories!

Good night and good luck!

Google gives you a daytime view, and I don't know if the view was from the month of December. The deciduous trees look like they are fully leaved out... maybe it's summertime? But it was fun looking anyway.

Thanks for the post.

has a lot to do with it. They may not even have December up on there. Don't worry about it. :-)

18. Thanks. I looked at a few places we used to live. That was great fun!
I can see alterations the people made to the properties.

We found out from our realtor that the man who bought our former residence cut down all the trees in the backyard. They were trees that my husband had planted in the 1970s and that he had lovingly cared for ... for 28 years. He was heartsick. Even though it's been eight years since we sold that house, and moved 2,750 miles west... he won't even look at the Google display tonight. Poor guy! You can't go home again!
