Re the statue: A BBC reporter convinced a group of Iraqis to pull down the statue (it was not their idea, true) and when they physically could not, they were helped along by a crane. This doesn't mean they didn't hate the guy. Trust me. I spent three very long years over there. They fucking hated that guy. (with very few exceptions)
