A question on Saddam's execution
I know I am gonna get flamed for this, but it has been nipping me on the ass. But death penalty opponents usually have candlelight vigils during the hours before execution of a prisoner. Was there ever one planned for Saddam here in the US?

1. Never heard of any vigils like that held for any executions overseas
Only ones done here.

3. That's probably PART of why they were not forthcoming on the time -
they didn't want any time to organize a show of support for Saddam.

5. Animals?
I wonder why some people call wicked people "animals".

6. I know how you feel
and I do agree, but after reading the posts from the anti death penalty movement, curiosity hit me.
