How come I haven't seen this on TV- several people were killed.

but these accidents are somehwat common

On the bright side, and yes there is a bright side, the train was not a passenger train...

I still remember vividly the Passenger train versus bus I got to go to as a rescue worker near that same town.

And yes, trying to beat the train is a common habit for bus drivers who are on a very tight schedule.

RIP for the victims

3. there is NO news broadcast about any of Latin America
unless it is to trash Castro or Chavez. Funny, if you put a Spanish langauge station on, they somehow manage to put a full program together, including Latinoamerica
