Merry Christmas From President Bush to Federal Employees: You get a 1.81% raise
That's what most federal employees outside of Washington are getting for a raise in 2007. Of course because of locality pay, washington feds get 2.64%.

Wasting billions on halliburton while taking it out of federal employee payraises. What a fucking "fiscal conservative."

2. Clinton was no better since the numbers come out of OPM
which always tries to put the screws to civil servant, regardless of who is in the Whitehouse. IIRC Washington DC based Feds DO NOT get locality pay, but those based nearby in VA and MD do.
