Perhaps this global warming isn't so bad after all, eh?

Happy Holidays, DU! :hi:

14. Silly you!
I haven't been near a mall in ages, other than when our toaster oven died and we had to run out and get a new one a few weeks ago.

Luckily, I don't do any holiday shopping. We really don't exchange gifts for Chanukah in our family, since there are no young children. It's kind of nice sitting back and watching everyone else go crazy.

10. De acuerdo.
Saving the planet is a lot more important than a 50 degree, sunny Christmas Eve.

9. . . . and the Lions are losing. Ahh, holiday tradition.
Some things never change. Season's Greetings from Maryland from a transplant whose heart will always be in Michigan (beautiful here today, too!)

15. Yes, some things never change
We left the house to go to the movies and they were up by a point, but we knew they'd never hold on.

13. I was just eplaining why it was cold in Tuscon
Because its warm here in Detroit.

And as Michael Moore suggested you might enjoy the sun rising at midnight but you definately wouldn't think it was a good thing. It susposed to be cold up here. That it isn't is a clue something is going on.

:hi:

We need more traffic on the Michigan forum. There seem to be so many folks I come across who never post there.

18. It was unbelievable today
There was frost on the car as I left my brother's, though ... it served as a reality check.

19. No jacket? It ain't that warm in SE Mich
Wife & I went past a mall today, just heading for a theater (to see the good shepherd). I was surprised that the lot was half empty. I thought it would be a zoo.

When we got out of the theater, it was about 40 degrees out. Nice, but I'll wear my jacket.

20. We are having a nice cool holiday here in my of Texas.
The temp is in the 40's and wet.

The woodstove felt good after coming in from feeding the farm animals.

We usually have a warm Christmas.
