In response to Republican Congressman Virgil Goode's declaration that "there will likely be more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Quran" if the nation doesn't adopt his hard-line stance on immigration into the U.S., Iraqi legislator, Fareed-up-Tahir unveiled his own anti-immigration bill designed to halt the free flow of U.S. arms and military personnel into Iraq. Up-Tahir warned that there will likely be more U.S. puppets elected to Iraqi offices and demanding the use of the bible in their swearing-in if Iraqis don't adopt his hard-line bill banning the introduction of more U.S. invaders and occupiers into his country.
In a
letter to his Iraqi constituents, parliamentary member, Fareed-up-Tahir expressed his disbelief in "what the Christian holy book teaches." :
Thank you for your recent communication. When I raise my hand to take the oath on Swearing In Day, I will have the Koran in my other hand. I do not subscribe to using the Bible in any way. The Maliki leadership was handpicked by the U.S. and if Iraqi citizens don't wake up and adopt the Fareed-up-Tahir position on immigration there will likely be many more U.S. puppets elected to office and demanding the use of the Bible. We need to stop illegal occupations totally. I fear that in the next century we will have many more Americans in Iraq if we do not adopt the strict immigration policies that I believe are necessary to preserve the values and beliefs traditional to the Iraqi nation and to prevent our resources from being stolen.
Passages from the Koran are on the wall in my office. An American came by the office and asked why I did not have anything on my wall about the Bible. My response was clear, "As long as I have the honor of representing the citizens of my district in Iraq, the Bible is not going to be on the wall of my office."
Yours most sincerely,
The Honorable Fareed-up-Tahir
