MSNBC's Carlson joins Limbaugh in taking Obama "big ears" comment seriously...
Edited on Sat Dec-16-06 03:21 PM by bridgit
'In her October 21 New York Times column (subscription required), Maureen Dowd wrote that potential Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (IL) is "intriguingly imperfect," citing as one example the fact that "is ears stick out." In a December 11 weblog entry, Chicago Sun-Times Washington bureau chief Lynn Sweet wrote that Obama, following a press conference the previous day in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, "headed toward New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd and chided her -- in a kidding way -- for a comment in the 12th of 14 paragraphs in an Oct 21 column. She wrote that Obama's 'ears stick out.' " During the exchange, Obama said: "I just want to put you on notice. I'm very sensitive," adding, "I was teased relentlessly when I was a kid about my big ears."'

i don't think Carlson is that stupid, i think he was just playing the same ole republican (despite what he claims his affiliation to be) cards drawn from the bottom of stciky, tacky deck...it's standard shit for them to make fun of their rival's ears, their mother's socks & daddys having been laid off at work it's what they do best :puke:

3. So Tucker's now getting talking points from Limbaugh? Don't
any of these people have any original ideas? And is that all the ammo they have to spew at Obama? Very juvenile, the lot of them.

4. GW Bush a male model? I've never once heard a political commentator
remark on his beady little close-set eyes, or his bushy mono-brow.

5. He could model as a caveman for those car insurance ads.
Otherwise, I think he's modeling jobs would be limited to work in a pinanta factory.

15. Political cartoonists care.
They need body parts that lend themselves to easy exaggeration for their caricatures.

16. Let's see...
Obama has big ears and according to Matthews Gore is fat.

Here the electorate is chided for considering a presidential election a beauty contest, when the pundit class sets the tone for that every damn day.

it's true you ass wipe.

He's depicted as a monkey in cartoons everyday of the week, but I have yet to hear anyone in the cable cabal or radio empire to say it.
