Drudge Exposed As Head Of Liberal Media!!! This Is HUGH!!!!
I really don't see how The Onion can stay in business with these evil lunatics running around the country...

"I pity the Americans who do not have the computer expertise to access the exposés of lies of corrupt politicians and gullible television anchors, biased newspaper headlines, and anything from the Associated Press. If it were not for the Internet and Lucianne Goldberg's Web news forum, I would never learn the truth behind the Times headlines as pitched by the Drudge Report.

Matt Drudge, who may or may not be a willing accomplice to the distortion of news reporting, must be held responsible for the dissemination of the bias in the liberal press. Studies have shown that the readership of the Times is down — as it is in other liberal publications — and so are the television ratings of the alphabet networks and CNN and MSNBC, while Fox News is up."

2. Speaking of mendacity...
From the article:

The week before, Mr. Drudge posted a quote from the new secretary of defense, Robert Gates: "We are not winning in Iraq." Did he really say those words? No. At Mr. Gates's confirmation hearing, Senator Levin, a Democrat of Michigan, asked him if we were winning in Iraq, and he answered, "No."

Lucianne, of course, pointed out that Mr. Gates went on to say we're not losing, either. His exact words were: "Our military forces win the battles that they fight; our soldiers have done an incredible job in Iraq. And I'm not aware of a single battle that they have lost. And I didn't want my comments to be interpreted as suggesting that they weren't being successful in their endeavors."

Yet, Mz. Alicia Colon fails to mention that Gates say the second quote after the hearing committee had reconvened after recessing for lunch!!! Now, I'm not the NSA, but I'd bet a Lincoln that Gates got a phone call while eating his sandwich that 'inspired' him to expand his response a little.

3. Thank jebus she doesn't live in the fact based world of....
liberals. :eyes: The "make shit up and keep repeating it" Reich-Wing mentality suits her just fine.

"and so are the television ratings of the alphabet networks and CNN and MSNBC, while Fox News is up." Oh really?

Total Viewers - Oct. 2006 -- 2,081,000 --- Oct. 2005 -- 2,678,000 --- 22% Drop
25-54 Demo - Oct. 2006 -- 470,000 --- Oct. 2005 -- 518,000 --- 9% Drop

Now compare that to the numbers for Keith Olbermann, his ratings have actually went up, and he is the #1 rated show on MSNBC.

Total day:

FOX - Aug 2005 -- 1,001,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 933,000 - 7% drop
CNN - Aug 2005 -- 433,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 584,000 - 35% increase
MSNBC - Aug 2005 -- 220,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 277,000 - 26% increase

It must be wonderful NOT to have to live within the constraints of reality. Fantasy is SO MUCH easier to accept. :eyes: The lying liars and the lies they tell.

"My name, Alicia, means truth, so here it is". Yes dear, her it is. You're a lying piece of Reich-Wing scum who never lets little things like "facts" get in the way of a good diatribe. :puke:

6. They're kidding me. This must be a plagiarism from The Onion.
Or perhaps The Spoof, or Satirical Political.

I mean, she's blaming MATT DRUDGE for promoting liberal beliefs and driving Bush's ratings down. That's like blaming Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh.

7. Apparently, this idiot can't read ratings.
Faux News's ratings are tanking, from what I've been reading.
