Kerry Criticizes Bush in Egypt
Senator John Kerry, visiting Egypt Thursday during a tour of the Middle East, accused the Bush administration of neglecting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Kerry met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and said they discussed Iraq as well as the Israeli-Palestinian dispute.

``I have always believed that the Middle East peace process is the critical issue of the region, and it has not been focused on for the past 6-7 years adequately,'' the Massachusetts Democrat told reporters after meeting Mubarak. ``I think there has been a huge loss of opportunities.''

The senator said he agreed with the recommendation of the Iraq Study Group that the U.S. should engage adversaries such as Iran and Syria in trying to curb the conflict in Iraq. The recommendation was contained in the report by the bipartisan commission to the White House last week.

1. Engaging all stakeholders in the M.E. has been Kerry's position all along.
Holding a regional summit was part of Kerry's 4-point plan for Iraq in his 2004 platform.

Kerry is all about actual diplomacy, unlike the wannabe cowboy currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue.

2. Expect the inevitable "Kerry is a traitor" mantra from the WH goon squad.

3. Back from the time when word traveled by hoof ...
you are not supposed to criticise the POTUS when you are he is out of the country. For some reason they still think this applies in today's world or whatever world it is that they live in.

5. Kerry, just may be, a genius.
Think about it. The right-wingers so overplayed their hand by swiftboating him in 2004 and everyone overreaacted to his botched joke in 2006, so now the guy may just be building up an immunity. Now everyone is growing to expect him to say the unexpected. Well, we may just find out. Saying something critical of Bush while overseas use to bring a hailstorm. We shall soon find out if my theory holds.

6. Tony Snowjob(will probably say) "That he criticized the president on foreign soil is reprehensible"
But then again most people in foreign countries believe Bush is reprehensible.
